 Dear Women of Grace,

 
Thank you, Sharon Ryan and all of the Women of Grace, for your friendship, your support and your help throughout the years.  When I look back these past 22 years, it was your friendship and support that brightened them.  I have found you to be a community of women that I loved and will now miss.   Together we studied God’s word and we were enriched and guided by it.  I watched you serve each other and the world. You have been a wonderful community of women and I will treasure you in my heart forever. 

 
Thank you for the generous gift certificate to Absolutely Yours.  Something special will be found for our new home that will remind me of you.  Our new address is 3500 North Rankin Street, Appleton, WI 54911 and our new land phone is 920-364-0174.

Summer is Over?

            Well it will be in a few short weeks. The annual Women’s August Salad Supper was as usual a success, a great variety of salads that feeds our bodies and soothes our souls  Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the potluck supper so successful.

        Our guest for the evening was a local lady who shared her talent in jewelry making.  She is a very enthusiastic woman who has made some very beautiful, and unusual designs.   Her story of how she was able to start her jewelry business was one we were glad she shared with us.

       Election of officers was held and Sherry Luebke replaced our dear friend Sharon Quello, and Nancy Fibiger will take over Mission Growth Leader for Pat Smith who held the position for 2 terms. Sherry was installed immediately and Nancy will be installed at the Advent Party in December. Sharon was wished the very best in her new journey in life.

2010 -2011 Bible Study:

Lessons for Today’s Disciples

             At our September circle meetings we will start a new series of Bible studies, “Lessons for Today’s Disciples.” These are simple discussions, based on Bible verses that relate to our lives as Christians in today’s world.

There are print-outs available on the literature table in the church entrance for any woman to pick up and study. There is also an extra sheet of discussion questions for the September study.

Join us as we talk about “today’s disciples.”

Thank you all again for a great summer and hope each of you will continue to participate in a Bible study either the new print outs or the LWT magazine. 

Please keep in mind that there is a Retreat at Imago Dei Village Sept. 17-18^th.   A Registration form is available on the bulletin board across from the office. 

We will again be in charge of the BLOOD-MOBILE and sign up sheets will be available on the bulletin board.  Your help is greatly appreciated in food donation and serving throughout the day.  Hope to see you there.
